What applicators used for Int. dressings?

Hey guys, I was just applying some VRT to my dash and used a variety of different applicators, the normal; Yellow round foam pad, adams gray ones, and the round yo-yo looking ones for tires. Just wondering which ones y'all use and with what, and which ones disperse product evenly and so on. I love the yellow pads but my fingers get real tight after a good crack and crevice detail!

P.S. what do you use to remove excess dressing from trim and what not, I have been using DS and APC.

I started using an old waffle weave towel that I cut up for interior dressings and glass cleaning because I was having a problem with streaking. Works great and the streaking problem is solved.

Cool, how do you deal with thickness, did you fold it over itself or use just a single layer of WW? Some pictures would be awesome!

i was a big fan off adams PVA square sponges for interior dressing, until i notice i would go thru 3-4 ounces of product. i guess the foam is soo large that it keeps sucking up the dressing into the inner pores. right now im using terry applicators and dish sponges from the super market for applying dressings. thick enough hold dressings and thin enough to keep it at the surface.

I'm using the same ones as TSX and love them for dressing and leather conditioner applications....They seem to keep streaking and excess product usesage way down....I also have a MF mitt that I got from PB that I use for buffing that is really great for cutting down on streaking.

Beemerboy, and TSX, being that MF is very absorbent do you feel that the app's are too absorbent or the opposite? ie: spreading further and less absorbtion than a foam app? Also do y'all moisten your applicators and with what, I used to those C-ello sponges from the grocery store and wet them with water and wrung them dry/damp.

I've not felt that the MF pads have used more product that the foam ones...I have found that they spread allot more even and I get allot less streaking.

That's the one the grab for when doing the inside.

Beemer boy, do you moisten the pad prior to application of product, that goes for the rest of y'all? I have used water but wonder what DS would do.
