I was looking at this because i dont have much money, and need some 4" pads for my car.

Thank You,

Ryan

That's a good kit. But if all you are looking for is 4" pads, you can probably find a little better price at Excel, list price, without asking for the package price for all 4 pads with the backing plate is $30.05, which is roughly $10 less than the discounted price of autogeek. But you don't get the goodies of adaptor for a drill (?) and some MF's, but for the difference if price, plus Patrick might offer a discount if you buy his package, I don't know.

It sounds like both packages are killer deals.

Since I've gotten my 4" pads, I don't think I would ever use one to put wax on. The ones I really like are the cutting ones, and light polishing. If you bought excel's and were on a budget, you could easily get by just buying the orange and green, but hey they are only $3.95 each, so why not go crazy and buy one of each, just in case.

To be honest, when I detail for $, i mostlly use the 6.5" just for time reasons, but when the customer is willing to be spend the money, or time is no factor, or it is my car, the 4" pads are sure nice. But sometimes, you just have to break out those little suckers and they are nice to have in your arsenal and they are not reallygoing to break the bank compared to the price of full size pads.

Goodluck in pad selection

Or you can get a great deal buying exactly what you need and help support Autopia at the same time.

Backing plate $11.99, mix and match whatever pads you want for $5.99 each, or just buy a plate, pad and polish together for $22.99.

Id like to support this great site any way I can, but if it gets too expensive I will not be able to do it. I will see about trying to put some combinations together.

Thanks,

Ryan

@ jdlierle

Yeah, the car will be mine, and I am going to put in whatever it takes to make it look how it is supposed to.

Thank You for the responses, it seems I have some more price comparing to do.
