What about MOM?

If there is one product line at retail that consistently overdelivers on performance and value, it's Mothers.

If you compare product lines, Mothers is much smaller than Meguiar's and 3M. And they don't really play to the "flavor of the month" crowd. But everything of theirs I've used has been an excellent performer. Give their stuff a try if you're interested.

Among other products, Mothers has *outstanding* metal polishes. Billet is an incredible product! :up

I have used it and had good results. I was just wondering why it is rarely mentioned here.

Oh yeah,

Dont forget, Mothers sells Langka touch up paint blot reducer under their name, usually more likely to find it in smaller local car parts stores

I've used their Aluminum polish (only one I've used, but it hasn't made me look for anything else) and clay bar kit. The clay bar is fine, and I use the small bottle of carnuba cleaner wax on my door jams and painted parts under the hood. I also have Back to Black, but I'm not real sure that I like it.

My local stores don't seem to stock much of the Mother's product line. Hard to even find the quick detailer by itself.

Alot of products sold in Auto Parts stores including Mothers are below autopian standard. If I had to choose between meg's or mum's, I would go mum's.

I'll vouch for the Billet aluminum polish also..That stuff works wonderful !! Havent tried any of their wax or cleaners?

Mothers does have some very nice products, their glaze from the 3 step system is one of the easyest glazes ive used, and the results are awesome.

Clay kit- great value, easy to use

Showtime- hands down the shiniest QD I've used (tied w/Z6)

Califormia Gold pure caunaba wax, liquid- everything a low-cost carnauba wax should be. Smells great, super easy to work with.

Back to black- a saviour for trim.

Pre-wax cleaner- a real good product if you don't have access to DACP.

I like the PURE CARNUBA WAX a lot it works well on black cars and the tin has a big opening so you can use it with a big appy
