OK - but I have more drastic work in mind, like taking paintwork back to bare metal, and then sanding as the paint goes back on.
One day I expect to run a compressor for a paint gun and a DA sander for this sort of thing, but then again I don't really want to double up on tools more than I have to.
I expect to get something like a PC in the near future, and I don't want to take a whole car down to bare metal and then do all the wet sanding by hand when the PC could be doing it for me.
