Wet Mirror Finish review

Product was used on a black 1999 Accord 90,000+ miles that has seen it's fair share of road rash, endured 8+ years of ohio winters, saw two teens learn how to drive it and before that carted them and numerous friends to where ever.

Started out washing using CG's Citrus Wash

Clayed entire car using gray clay (sonus)

polished with PO85RD orange edge pad @ 1500

PO85RD once more with blue edge @900 - 1500

Wet Mirror Finish white egde pad @ 900 - 1200

Impressions: WMF is creamy in it's consistency and applies easily, removes easily as well leaving behind an improved gloss enhanced finish. In this case it was a marked improvement seeing as how the car had not been given a good cleaning since winter. Do I like WMF? Yes I do, the results were more apparent in person than in pics and as nice as PO85RD finishes WMF only added to the depth and clarity, I found it to be almost carnuba like. I probably could've done better at the pics but I'm learning there too. First pic, at least I hope the first one is a before shot the rest are after shots

Cheers for the review. does WMF dissappear when you buff or just keep spreading like 85RD. I don't want to work it too long and have it hologram

It pretty much disappears, very creamy in consistency, spreads very well. I don't think it would leave holograms.

I talked with paul at c.g. and he told me he used mirror finish with and orange pad, then went over it again with a white finishing pad.

I wonder why a orange pad was used....Wet Mirror has no abrasives and wouldn't the orange pad leave some marring...strange combo...

Sounds like a interesting product...
