Wet-Ice over fire kit, I have a few questions....

Guess this is mainly geared towards you pro's out there who are mobile. But, how are you applying this to a customers vehicle? Are you returning the 2nd day to apply the 2nd coat, or are you just letting it go with a single coat?

Also, does the polish replace your final polishing step that you'd normally use, or does this add another polishing step?

And lastly, can you order the polish by itself? I see the wax available by itself, but haven't seen the polish available for sale outside the kit.

I'm really interested in givin this product a try, and I'm excited about it :o Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a die hard Meg's fan. So for me to be branching out like this is quite rare. But from everything I've read, this seems to be a great product that will give my customers outstanding results.

Thanks,
Nick

Shop by brand at CMA and you will see the Gloss Enhancing Polish. I don't think it is part of the Wet-Ice over Fire kit though. I believe the Gloss Enhancing Polish is mild and contains some fillers (similar to a glaze). I use a finishing polish like FPII or PO85RD as my last step. I do not use a glaze. The Gloss Enhancing Polish is good but won't have as much cut as a finish polish. I'm not personally sure of the mobile application. I do know that CMA recommends curing time for the Sealant before the wax.

Good info! I guess I should read more :o
I saw the black bottles included with the kit, and just assumed it was the polish. Thanks for setting me straight on that info.

Anyone care to comment on the wax? How are you guys applying it? Going back for a 2nd coat the next day?

Hey Nick...I bought the Midnight-Sun on it's own from a member here. I put two coats of FMJ on during the detail One hour apart and I only put one coat of The MidNight-sun on one hour after that. There's no going back for me. After one coat I couldn't believe my eyes. It makes metal flake and Metalic paints just pop all over the place. It feels a little on the hard side. I apply with a yellow pinnacle foam applicator. Those are my go too's. I know that I'm getting a solid 3 to 4 months out of what I just did.

I'm not a mobile pro or any kind of pro for that matter...:D
