My paint still felt glass smooth after a wash so I didn't need to clay. I had some light scratches on my finish so I decided to polish first with Meguiar's #80 and a light cutting pad using my PC. After the #80 I applied Prime and followed that with AJT
The appearance was glossy, highly reflective and wet; it really made my metallic flake pop. The only question mark for me is durability. I've always been a skeptic of spray waxes/sealants and their durability though I've read good things about AJT so I have high expectations.
This detail was actually done a couple of months ago and the Werkstatt is holding up well. After a few washes, water is still beading and the gloss is still excellent.
Do you have pics of your finish today? Does it still look as wet as your 1st pic? I've been on the fence for awhile about purchasing Werkstatt or Zaino. I wish I could see yours and SilverLexus side-by-side to help me decide.
I got about 4 months out of 1 coat of AJ before IMO it was starting to loose some slickness. At that time I applied 1x of AJT and that was still pretty good at 3 months. At that time I polished the car again and applied 3x of Z5pro.
How does Werkstatt resist contaminants and such meaning how much of it comes off when spraying off the car before washing to you don't have to use so much pressure when washing.
During the 4 months I was washing w/ QEW 3-4 times a month. Then I would use either Z8 or HGAS 1-2 times a month over the AJ.
In the past I had got 6 months on this same car using zaino (z2pro and Z8).
IMO I prefer the look of Z5pro on darker colors vs AJ. From my experience, you need to top AJ with a carnuba to get the same look as I can get from Z5pro.
Thanks for the replies and comments guys, I really appreciate it.

If I took pics today it would look exactly like the ones I posted above. The Prime/AJT is really holding its appearance well. I had doubts but water still beads wash after wash, and the gloss is still as good today as when I first applied it. The surface isn't as slick as after the initial application but a quick wipe down with Acrylic Glos brings it right back up. I'm testing for durability so I haven't applied any more AJT but it's so easy to use and so tempting that I had to remove it from the rest of my detail supplies (so for now it's locked in the back of a dark closet). Now I think that I should point out that I am in sunny San Diego, which is probably the most ideal climate for sealants/waxes to thrive in.

SDLexus how do like Werkstatt as opposed to Meguiars 21.
Your vehicle looks glossy shiny almost liquid like looking.
I like them both equally on Silver but they are different. I found M21 to have a bit more depth than AJT, which has more of a hard sealant look to it, but not too much as there is a touch more depth to AJT as opposed to SG IMO. The one thing I really like about AJT obviously is the ease of application. It applies like a "grabby" QD and if you remember to use a non-plush microfiber you can really cover the entire car in 5-10 minutes.

Bugs and dirt wipe off easily. I get most things off with the pre-wash rinse but then I never really let this car get filthy so my experience may not be a good indicator.
