Good stuff. My 14mo old was thrilled. He clapped and clapped.
Of course, when you see how excited he is over this apple, you may not feel so special. :beer_smil

There may be fours there, but if they're runing twelves they're sure as anything not stock. I've heard that if you put a Honda K20/24 (K20 head & K24 block) in a stripped CRX with no air filter and no exhaust that you can do that. Still, that's maybe $6000 (minimum) of work and it's a lot of work.

Plan now is a Comp Cams XE cam, 1.6 rockers, etc....keeping stock heads and hoping for high 10s on the 150 shot. If that lasts 1 season I'll be happy.

After that, forged 355, better heads, custom ground cam, and a lot of nitrous :D

I want it to run low 10s. Maybe 9s if I feel like getting all the safety equipment but it's a lot of stuff!

It's a built 4L60E automatic with a 3200 stall. 12-bolt Moser rear with 3.73s, Eaton posi, 33-spline axles, blah blah blah.

Motor is internally BONE STOCK. Never had a valve cover off...just external bolt-ons (headers, cold air intake, tune).

I always drive it to and from the track, as well as on the street to school/work/etc. I rented a trailer for last night though, since that track is 3.5 hours away and it's not worth the risk of breaking anything that far from home.
 
Congrats on the 11's. You should get the 1.6's quick. The LT1 stock springs are pretty weak. I love my 1.6's, but ya gotta get used to that valvetrain noise (not that the LT1 is quiet stock). Good luck on the 10s. Best of luck to the 4l60e living through too many 11 second passes. :D :D

I have the 1.6 Pro Magnums sitting on my desk at home. Waiting on my other valvetrain components to arrive, then I'll begin tearing it apart.

Car ran 13.1 on motor. Should be running mid-low 12s with the cam...buddy of mine has the same exact setup and ran a few 12.0s with the occasional 12.1-12.2.
