I had the doors, passenger fender and rear quarters to finish and then all of a sudden I noticed that it was making some strange noise.

well, that turned out to be;

There's ~ 1/4'' play in the head of the unit.*

I didn't even get 20hours of use out of it.

I live in a big area, I'm hoping there is, the upside is I have a decent excuse to quit early. I really don't have the patience to do this(paint correction) often :P

Get a rotary if you want speed.

Get it fixed, sell it, and get the Griots. Sucks that it only lasted that long though

X2 on the Griot's. I've had the 6" and 3" a year and they've worked perfectly! I know the 3" isn't so powerful, but for small areas it works well.

I JUST bought a griots(see a few threads down)

I cant WAIT to use it, just have to wait for the snow and cold to go away.. Ive heard great things about the griots though.. More powerful than the PC, more durable, etc etc.

The company I bought it from is shipping me a new one with return postage to send the other one back. I will admit, even I'm surprised by this kind of customer service on a third party product.
