............ bought another one! ;) :D

Well I sold my 1.6 Focus after a good few months of trying!

Old One:

Well I love the focus just everything about it so thought it would be rude not to buy another one!

Heres the new one: (Apologies for low light - weather is a bit poor here, started snowing ten minutes after I took these)

Will get some better pics when the weather improves!

It is an amazing car - soooo much power and grip! I have a smile on my face everytime I push the green button and have been known to laugh like a maniac whilst driving it! lol :lol:

The paintwork isnt in anywhere near as good a condition as I had got the previous one to but I have started work on it already! :) Managed to resist the urge to import a PC so far but my arms are starting to feel the pain

Nice car Rich. That paint will come up a treat once you've fully detailed it.

Is that colour 'performance blue' by any chance?

Its very very similar to performance blue!

Its called Imperial Blue!

I plan on carrying on using P21S on it using the same products I used on the previous car! That shade of blues comes up soooo deep and wet with a good carnauba wax! :)

Allow me to be the first from the States to congratulate you! Help me with the lingo, please. You say you smile when you "push the green button". Is that the accelerator pedal? "The Gas"?

Thanks,

Charles

I was looking for a pic of the button and center console, and found exactly that one :rofl

Cheers Dog :wavey

So that is a real RS? Wow, nice little car. I wish we got that car in the States, 2.0 turbo and AWD right? I drove a Focus ZX3 Hatch 2.0 for a while and loved the car, but it needed more power!

 Are you serious, why the hell don't they bring that to the states? And are those the stock front and rear bumpers? That car in that trim, with that body style would sell like crazy here. Why Ford and others don't bring the European and Japanese styles here to America really kills me! :nixweiss

Apart from the tints its pretty much how it left the factory! :)

It is a shame that out of the 4501 built none were sent to the states! :( Folks may have imported them since but Ford never sold them over there! :(

At first, I thought we were being discriminated against by the Japanese automakers in that they didn't import their fastest cars to the US, but for Ford not to do it . . . . That car would probably sell like hotcakes in the US considering the success of the Dodge Neon SRT. Nice car by the way.

My understanding was that they would have to recertify emissions and crash testing (Note that US Foci have different bumpers). Plus at current exchange rates the car would cost around $30k US. Does that sound right Dog?

:xyxthumbsWell said, I'd even buy one. The SVT focus is just a joke in my opinion!

Yep it would require new bumpers for your crash tests, not sure about the emissions but youre probably right!

At current exchange rates the car ( if you could still buy it new) would be in the region of $37k US! ;)

Thats true, you could buy a ZX3 with a blown drivetrain cheap and throw a 5.0l or a 4.6 motor in it and convert it to RWD! ISnt that the American way? LOL!
