Weeks Details

Mostly wash and waxs with interiors this week. My 300C cancelled due to rain today, so my only complete was post-poned.



First up, a 2004 Cavalier. Decent shape, bad swirls, lots of tar. Fixed up the horizontal surfaces so there was minimal swirls and removed the tar. Topped off with NXT. Interior got some 777 APC and Super Dress it.

Second up was a Mazda Protege. Up for sale, so he wanted it cleaned up. Same process as the cavalier.

I worked on a Lancer, but the owner didn't have time for pictures. Fixing Ming's work. What a horror show.



Thirdly, a Lincoln LS. Polished horizontal surfaces with SSR 3 and polishing pad. Topped with Awsome Gloss. Rims were cleaned with glass cleaner. Interior got some 777 APC, Dress It Right on the plastics and Wolfegang condition on the leather. Leather was cleanedw the 777 diluted 10:1. (was in pretty sick shape)

Would have had 2 more cars if weather would have permitted. Oh well. I have two interiors tomorrow that I'll post up then.

I hear ya on the weather. I lost 2 full days and a half day this week because of rain and impending rain. Most were regular wash customers so I don't make those up, I just catch them the next week.

You used SSR3 on that Lincoln and didn't go to anything finer? If finished down ok? Or is Awesome Gloss some kind of polish?

SSR3 finishes good on a silver colour. It was used with a polishing pad, on 6 with the PC, so it broke down.
