Weekend Detailing Plans

I'm going to look out the window forlornly at my car as it drizzles and I feel the cold creep in.... :p

Wash our Escape, use #9 w/PC, a coat of S100 (I just now got back from the Harley shop with it:p ), and a QD with the Clearkote QuickShine that was on my door step a few minutes ago. That's just the paint - the inside, tires/wheels will get their treatments as well. Next weekend I'll do the same to my car. Sorry to hear about your crappy weather, 4DSC, here's my weather :up

We have flood warnings for the weekend, so I will give the interior a buff and clean the spare wheel but thats about it for me.

Yeah, but at least the drought warning is off. I was getting worried that they would ban car washing!:(
Hehe, yeah that's true. In a perverse way though, I was almost hoping there would be one so I could break out my Quick & Easy and thumb my nose at them like so: :p

DP-Jedi no wonder - you're in Florida! :envy: :shiver: ;)

here's my forecast. (10 C = 50 F) :down

Yes, I'll be putting a couple more coats of Zaino on my MINI...I desperately need to clean and wax the wheels to get ready for another Mid-Atlantic winter.

Jedi - I curse your beautiful Florida weather. It'll be 50s up here in Maryland, so I can look forward to a day-long wait for my wax to cure!

Let's post pics after the weekend is out to see who the shine winner is!:D

Man, I have big plans! Its supposed to hit 50 and sunny tomorrow (which is UNHEARD of in MN in Nov) so my buddies and I are planning on:

Dawn wash

American Shine Clay

Platinum Paint Cleaner

New BlackFire

American Shine Wax

Streek Free Glass Cleaner

FULL Interior job...ya know!

Then, guess what?! Snow in the forcast for Sunday! GREAT!

Supposed to be 63 here in Chicago tomorrow, rain in the evening though, still....

Wash, clay, S100...... Can't wait.

It's going to get in the 60's here in CT. this weekend.

Now I'll finally get the chance to try out the new Blackfire, I received from Terry at CMA on the wife's car and put another coat of Zaino on my car. With the weather we've been having, this just might be my last full detail on the cars till next year.:(

I'm going to fully detail a friend's new 2003 Lancer OZ Edition... I'll post before and after pics when I'm finished, along with another friend's 2000 Saab 93 turbo convertable (vroom, vroom!)

I forgot to mention that I need to clean the Maxima's trunk out. The way my trunk looks now, Sanford and Son's truck is much neater by comparison. :shocked

Yup gonna throw a coat of S100 over the top of my Mom's Zainoed dark emereld green Accord.

Should be pretty dang smooth when done:bounce

Hahah odd weather eh?

It's raining here in So Cal (finally!) I'll have to wait and see if it's still raining on Sunday or Monday (I get a day off!) until I can wash the car(s). :(

I get to pick up my new '03 Silverstone Grey Passat GLX tomorrow (it has been sitting on the docks in LA for several weeks because of the shipping delays). Gonna wash it, clay it, wash it, polish it, z1, z5,z5,z5,z2,s100,s100 (whew!). If i don't run out of time by Tuesday that is. After all, days are getting shorter here in Hawaii, the sun now sets at 6:00PM and rises at 6:30 am.... temp 85 degrees, humidity 65%. yippeee!

Next week, gonna do the insides.....
