Close to having my website done, still a few things left to fix. Better logo needs to go up and the portfolio needs to get finished filling in. But want other peoples opinions of things they see wrong, etc. Thanks

Couple suggestions:

1) You need a different e-mail address other than Yahoo. Use the domain you already have, mirrordetailing.com. I suggest something like info@mirrordetailing.com

2) Don't label yourself (Michael Cunningham) as "Owner". Label yourself as GM (General Manager). Sure you may not have any employees, but the title conveys a more "business-professional" look.

3) In your Services section, the title (what apears at the top of your browser window, in the opposite corner of the "X") shows as "Untitled Document", meaning the <title></title> HTML code hasn't been filled out.

4) In your Services section, you make reference to certain terms like "TBM" and "Clay Bar". I'd change these terms to something the average joe (a.k.a. non-detailer) will recognize. Example: clay bar becomes paint decontamination.

5) Grammar. Check your grammer, in partictular, the "2 day's" and "Service's", which shouldn't have an apostrophe. Avoid the different tenses used. For example, you say in your Services section, under Full Paint Correction, "•Requires That You Leave The Vehicle With Me For 2 Day’s Minimum". Then, in the next section titled Custom Detail, you say "If Only Certain Things Need To Be Done, Or Customer Wants Only Certain Parts Of Certain Packages.". First you refer to "you" then you refer to "customer". Keep it consistent.

Other than that, I don't see much else right now that I'd recommend making changes too. I like the site, it's easy to navigate and looks sleek.

WAS makes some good suggestions above. I know it's still in the development stages, but here is some constructive criticism:

a) Font and/or font size on the top horizontal menu is a little off. The text effect and small size combined makes the lettering a little difficult to read. I think simply increasing the font size would rectify this.

b) Hyperlink hover over effect is annoying. Stay away from changing text sizes and dramatically changing fonts/styles for links. Keep it clean - adjust the CSS to underline the text or change it to a contrasting color on hover.

c) Lightbox for gallery images do not have an "X" to close (as the user is instructed to look for). Clicking the image closes the lightbox, but just clarify the wording a bit there.

Other than that, it's looking clean and professional. :)

HEY! you're on MCE??? I used to post there a LONG time ago. I still wear their shirt when i'm gonna wrench on my cars. It's stained with everything imaginable but i love that shirt

I like the car logos at the bottom-but you risk getting harrassed by those manufactures as they probably are not supporting your venture.

The "about me" section could use some sexing up...it's very sticatto

I think my company made the emblem on the front of that Nissan too!

Yep been with the club since they first came around and sponsoring them for the last year.

The logo's on the bottom where brought up on other sites and will be having those taken down by tomorrow. The About ME section was just added as kinda a filler. Kinda if someone comes to the site and the Home Page is not enough for them...etc.

Also the emblem on the silvia is the factory emblem from Japan.
