Hi, guys. As most of you know, I live in New Orleans, LA and lost quite a bit from Hurricane Katrina. One of the things we lost was my mom's 04' BMW 330cic (you can view it on the last page of my gallery). Just before the storm, early September, I bought her a Covercraft Weathershield HD, and it fit like a glove. I already knew of the quality of these covers since I got mine for my Expedition. Here's a couple pics of that one in action!
Anyway, when we returned home, we found that the water level had just gotten high enough to creep in the bottom of the doors, and ruined the complete interior of the car, including all of the electronics that were mounted under the seats, etc. Anyway, to make a long story short, her insurance company totalled the car, and ordered it to be crushed.
The cover, on the other hand, made it through everything perfectly. It still looks and peforms like the day I bought it, and since we don't have a car for it anymore, I'd like to sell it for her. I ordered it with additional flanel on all of the interior seams to help protect the finish, and also ordered it with a bag made of the same HD material.
I paid right around $325 for the cover and bag, and will let it go for $225 plus actual shipping cost, any way you'd like. That's $100 off for less than one month's worth of use, because since then, it has been in it's bag, sitting on the countertop in my garage.
Here's a link to the specific cover I have, and merchant I bought it from: http://216.60.144.111/ecatcust/review.asp?vid=354058663&x=1
