We Need More Sun Here In AZ!

Makes it a little hard to detail... :(

We`re on the same streak here as well, did a maintenance detail on a customer`s truck the other day and it was 99 out with the sun in full blast. Rinseless wash and Megs D156 handled it well though. Zero water spots while doing panel per panel start to finish. Usually I just do 1/4 to 1/2 the vehicle then dry.

Stay safe out there and do not hesitate to take breaks once your body tells you!

Yes, it`s 108.5 right now in my garage in Snottsdale AZ.
Just got done wiping down the engine bay with Opti-Bond.
Looks great, but I am wasted. Went inside for water and it`s coming out of the faucet warm.

You need a garage with a drain.

That`s the dream! But it will still be hot hahaha! At least I`ll be in the shade.

Good advice! Thanks! Glad your rinseless and D156 process didn`t pose any problems in the heat.

I think it is hot right now in WI. Our day time highs are about where your lows are at:)

I`d kill to have those kind of highs during summer. That`s perfect weather for detailing..

I give you props for detailing outside right now. I didn`t even want to get out of the house hahaha!

I hate detailing during our summers.. Even washing the car is hard in the morning. Have to get up at 5AM to beat the sun. Once the sun comes out, you gotta rush drying up the car because it just creates bad waterspots.

For the past 2 weeks I`ve been finding excuses to go in the garage and open the door , since my house AC broke down and it feels better outside in the shade than in my own House.

WoW. I heard you guys were in for a heatwave but that`s just pure h3ll  I`ve never been in weather like before :o

Meanwhile, I`m still waiting for the heat... I went swimming in my pool this weekend it was 66f, LOL.

I guess I can`t complain it`s in the 70`s and sunny all week.

^^ I can`t imagine the AC going out... Hope your nights cool off enough.

Bought a small portable unit for the bedroom so that i could at least sleep at night, so far so good thankfully. Nights rarely cool down here, last night it was nice because we had some rain but if it doesn`t rain, it stays hot 24hrs as well.
