I took my mom to pick her car up from the shop last week and parked next to the car below. The body shop is in a different building but same area. These were taken with my iPhone from my truck

I don't know if you can tell but the white residue below the rocker panel is compound residue. That's a great job my friends. When the person finished using the rotary and stood back and admired their work I'm sure they felt proud.

man what manager let that be seen in public. how is that quality work? man i dont understand bodyshops...thats just horrible...

Buffer trails is what that is, next step would be a lighter cut polish with a PC and that would start to work the BT out. In other words he's done half the job so far

not all body shops are like tha.t the body shop were my son works for and is the head painter at.he does all wet sanding and compounding&polishing himsef

I agree... The shop I use for everything does an amazing job and it looks like glass afterward, absolutely perfect

I agree it looks terrible, no doubt. But how do you even know that was something the body shop did? They could have even only repaired/painted the other side?

Its the manager/owners resposibility in how the work is done and leaves. Workers pretty much do what they know and are told/taught.

Moms car was on the other side. The whole car looked that bad. It's possible that they didn't repair the car and it was there for something else... But seeing the compound residue made me think they did paint work on it.

Maybe they did do the work , maybe they didnt and was in for somehing else like you said .
