i've just found a website : www.protech.nl.
It's a company in the Netherlands and they coat a vehicle with a polymer.A kind of synthetic layer.
For new cars they can treat they give up to 5 years of garantee. For used cars it's about 3 years.
Anyone else heard of it???

Interesting claim they make 5 years! That is a long time. And what happens when you get chips in paint????

I actually look forward to decipher some FLONI CODE everyday. It kind of relaxes my mind.

Hey FLACKEY (FLONI) you have my permission to keep using the ..... its ok..... dont.....let...them..hurt..your .....feelings!

now.........OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!!!!!!!!!:p

seriously...i dont get the guarentee....if it protects the paint from chips....by covering it.....a protective layer...then what does the age of the car have to do with it...is it that the paint is"older" and has less layers left for the product to bond to....even so....5 yrs for new cars and 3 yrs for "old" cars....i dont understand how they come up with that.....and what s considered a used/old car...5 yrs???

If I understand it well, they put an electrical charge on your car and then kind of shoot molecules at it.

I found that the price for such a treatement is around (depending on the size of the car) 17000 Bef (about 380 US dollars).

Every car that has less then 5000Km is a "new" car to them.

If my boss gives me more time I'll translate more...

SO far the translation makes it sound like a another clear coat or something.

Tell your boss this is good practice for you so you can translate other things for your company. Tell him it is important to the world peace balance. Make something up. But please keep translating I am interested.

the word you saw was not restaurant but (I need to use an other word 'cause I don't know an exact translation) rejuvanite

after they put the layer on your car, they warm it up with an orbital buffer 'till melting point (about 370 centigrade), that's how they get the shine.

In case of chips or an accident , they (and they alone) must come to fix the area with the scratch(-es).

The system (and/or produkts) is not for sale in any store,it's only the company that can do the job (or one of their 10 or so agents)

sorry if I write some words wrong, the only english I know is form watching "home improvements" LOL!!!:p

Not bad TIM "the tool man Taylor"

This seems like a interesting read. I wish I had my handy Belgumese to English to FLONIese dictionary so I could read more.

I wonder what the stuff is actually made from. It seems like another clear coat sort of. Except they polish it after spraying. DO you see any better pics then those on that site?
