Waxing Air Force One

I'm watching a show on the History channel about Air Force One. They said it gets waxed by hand before every mission, I believe they said its about 17000 sq ft of surface area. Wonder what kind of wax they use and do you think they really do it by hand? :waxing:

I've seen one of the Air Force planes practice stop-and-goes at Harrisburg International Airport on a couple occasions (I go to school across the street), its definitely a cool sight to see.

That show was great and very informative would like to see it again.

Myself along with Joe and many others had the chance to work on the first jet Air Force One that was built for Presidents Eisenhower. I worked on it in both 2007 & 2008 this project headed by Renny Doyle was a very large project to take on, but fun to get a chance to work with 20 detailers from all over the US.
