Waxes on CCD, will it mess up Zaino?

I picked up a California Car Duster to remove the unholy amounts of pollen around here. Something on the packaging caught my eye though. It says wrap in newspaper to absorb excess parafin wax and that the first few times may leave waxy streaks.

I'm under the impression that the last layer needs to be residue free for proper layering. So is this going to mess up my progress in rebuilding a few layers of Zaino?

You shouldn't have any wax actually leaving the duster onto the paint. If you notice any streaking from the wax (I noticed some the first time I used my OXO duster) just wash the car. Or just wait to use the duster until you are done layering the Zaino.

Might be a good idea to QD with a MF to remove dust while building the Zaino layers.

As for the CCDs, I've kept them on newspaper and changed the sheets often for a period of over two weeks before use. Never had any streaking problems after this just as long as I never use it in the direct sunlight.
