Wax/Polish on cowl piece....

I can not for the life of me get this crap off! i tried some of my 50/50 a/w mix and aggitaing the surface with a denture brush (eh, all i had that would fit in the nooks and crannies) ... all it did was spread the wax around!



HELP!
 
That's why I tape anything black now.... It may take 30 min to tape up the car, but saves you hours from trying to get the stains and wax out.



Try Q-tips to absorb the gross product. If it's something kinda porous and it's a dark color, Mother's Back to Black has worked well for me. Let it sit for a while and then make sure to wipe it off.
 
i tried to take the piece off to soak it in the bath tub with some dawn or something, but i couldnt get the wiper blades to come off... grr. right now i have some natural shine, eagle one wet tire shine, and some armoral aerosol tire stuff. anything in my small and meager arsonal help?



(btw, i got some pinnacle on the windows black edge at the bottom and it made it black.... new trick?)
 
haha! i just did a search and came up with peanut butter!... tried it and it worked!

course now the peanut butter is mine cuz i kinda stuck a blackend finger in it so whoops! more detailing supplies fo rme!
