Quick question - I just finished putting on the wax on my car and it started to rain. Will the rain affect the wax in any way (bonding to the paint,etc...)
Spraying water (usually cold water) on a just-waxed car to "set" the wax is an old-school technique that many of us have used. It can be (minimally) beneficial, so I sure wouldn't worry about rainwater messing anything up. Never has for me, and I've had just-LSPed vehicles rained on plenty of times.
OK...acid rain, etc. etc. but I still wouldn't worry.
yeah it started to rain and I still haven't been able to wipe it off. It's just sprinkling now but it messed up my whole routine for the day. Thanks for the response!
I've had this happen to me. As long as the LSP has already hazed and just needs removed, you should be fine. If it hasn't set up yet, I just wait a day and reapply.
