wax on trim

I keep getting wax on my plastic trim What can I use to remove it???? I put my dressing on it but it seems to have come back with the resent rain any help guys????

Is the trim porous? If it isn't, you can use either Klasse AIO or Meguiar's #39.

3M Adhesive & Wax Remover



Agitate with a soft bristled brush.



If you don't want to keep repeating this routine every time you wax, don't use a wax which stains trim.

I use masking tape on my fender flares that hold wax residue. That way I don't even have to worry about it when using the PC.

I'd use AIO and a barbeque brush (their cheap and soft), and change your wax to p21s, I never get wax residue with that product.

can't you use alcohol mixed with water, or straight? I would think it's pretty strong and won't harm anything.

I apply trim dressing first and leave it on if I am using a wax, this way any wax just sits on the unbuffed dressing.

Easiest and cheapest fix... Use a pink pencil eraser. Removes any wax from trim really easily. Wipe up the eraser bits with a MF or terry towel. Then just dress the trim like normal. Try it, it works.

Use AIO on the trim and you will not have to dress it.
