Wax Off ??

I have a dark colored car and when ever I use #26 I am never sure if I have gotten it all off...



What are some tips to take all the wax residue off? I have a PC but only use that for wax on I use a cotton cloth for wax off currently.

Well, you want to leave *some* product behind...... to protect the finish.



What makes you think you are leaving residue on the car? What's it doing/not doing?



If its streaky or smeary, that usually means too much product was used or it hasn't cured completely. Try misting on some distilled water or some QD and wipe of with a clean towel. That usually flash cures whatever's on the car.

I am getting swirls but they are not swirls ...:nixweiss



I am get bars of swirls were it looks liked I waxed and pushed all the oils

I have noticed with #26 that a surface you just applied it to will have a kinda of like... Molten look. Kinda hard to decribe. It's like the surface is kinda spotty. It goes away though after a day or so. I think all carnuaba waxes do it.

I did my Miata with S100 (cheap P21s ) this weekend and thought I'd look all slick come Sunday only to find blotchy/stripey areas that were darker than the surrounding paint. WTF?! I tried EF Clear Pearl (nothing) and more wax (changed the look some) then just said to hell with it and parked it in the sun. I think that took care of it...
