Wax Is Killing My Paint Please Help!

Okay, I have a 93 Red 3000gt and the wax is really starting to do a number to my paint.

I use a orbital buffer since I don't have the money to dish out on a PC right now but I use it at a low safe speed.

Currently I've used ZYMOL liquid Wax and Meguiars Gold Class Liquid Waxes. Along with that I've tried the meguiars carnuba too

My problem is the car's 11 years old and the paint seems to get on the buffing pads or my towel if I do it by hand. What's causing this to happend and is it normal? Im getting a bit nervous.

probably just due to the fact you're working with a single stage paint and removing a little everytime you go at it.

Go easy and use gentle products. There's no way to prevent the transfer of some limited amount of paint to your towels, etc.

Don't use cleaner waxes every time you wax your car. Get a pure wax like Meguiar's #16 or Mothers California Gold pure carnauba

Yeah, straight wax would be a much better bet. To turn a funky party funkier, use some sealant on it...layer it up and then put a straight carnauba on top of it all.

Got pics?
