Wax 03 accord desert mist (gold)

Hi, haven't been here in 2 years but know this was the place to ask my questions after i got a freshly painted car.

I just bought a new 03 EX V6 accord with the desert mist gold metalic paint straight off the truck with no swirls or scratches just fresh paint ( that is so exciting for me) and washed, clayed the rail dustoff carefully, and applyed Gold Class liquid with the mircale towel but don't like the shine (or lack of shine /good reflextion close up)of the wax and noticed it is harder to buff out than on my old black pearl coat and clumps up as it heats up.

I am looking for a wax in the price range of gold class that really brings out the metalic gold paint the way some waxes do with silver. I am saving for Kasse AIO & SG but right now Gold Class isn't cutting it.

I hope some one can help...btw the gold paint is like the toyota color or buick..a light gold not caddy catera ritzy gold but like their sevile gold and similar to the lexus gold...if that helps.

meguiars #26 gives better shine than gc imo, but id try s100(aka p21s) and its about 14 or 15 bucks at a harley shop!!!!

by the way, nice vehicle, my rents are thinking about getting one in the fall when they start getting rid of them.

Agreed. This is S100 about 4 weeks after I applied it to a gold 1997 Mercedes S420. I simply washed the car then took the pic.
