the two cars I will be detailing are in very good shape, but have spent too much time in the rain and in the sprinklers... :(

am going to be using washing claying and then applying:

1)FPII

2)FTG (final touch glaze)

3)FMJ

Which of these 6.5" LC pads will I use?

have gotten great info as far as general product useage, but unsure what pads will be best to work the waterspots out...

thanks guys!!

1) White....if you need more cut, consider applying IP via white or orange

2) Black

3) Black - buy 2 use one for FTG and one for FMJ.

so basically with FPII being pretty mild, the white pad will allow it work to its potential?

(no need to use a more abrasive pad?)

think im beginning to get it :D

If you are using a PC and IP, I do not think any pad will be agressive enough. You may be able to reduce them though. It took me several passes using Menzerna Powergloss via rotary, and a wool pad to remove some bad water spots.
