waterless wash and sheepskin mitt

Hi,



I've read several posts that sheepskin does not release dirt well when used with ONR. Why does this happen? I haven't had this problem with regular soap.



Is it something specific to ONR or to all waterless washes?



I think there is poorboys, QEW, ONR, ... any others?



I'm using the sheepskin mitts from autogeek. Anyone have success with any waterless wash and this particular sheepskin mitt?
 
I havent used ONR but have used QEW and and that style wash for several years with a sheepskin mitt and never had any issues. Just let the mitt do the work and dont use press hard.
 
From what I know, it doesn't seem like dust/dirt is releasing but after I finish washing the car, I look into the rinse bucket and know that dirt has released from the sheepskin mitt. My mitt turns a bit black sometimes, and I shake it off a bit when I put it into the rinse bucket. As long as you're working from top to bottom, shouldn't be a problem.
