Aug 31, 2004 #2 M Mr. Chemist New member Try these steps. 1. vinegar 2. clay bar 3. chrome polish (I can only recommend Mothers here, because of it's mildness) 4. glass cleaner Stop at the step that removes the water spots and then use the glass cleaner. Spots should be gone.

Aug 31, 2004 #4 B bufferman71 New member Thaks guys, the ideas really help. When i get some free tim, ill put in a water softner in my garage to try to avoid the problem anymore. Im gonna try the ideas out this weekend on my van.
