Water spots with Zaino???

FUEL put a few coats of zaino on his car last week and after he washed it last night, we went outside this morning to discover hard water spots that won't come off. First of all, is this normal, and secondly, would using vinegar to get rid of the water spots also remove the Zaino?

Yeah what she said. Basically the weather has been terrible here as of late and my car sadly has sat outside most of the time. Now I have 2 coats of Z5 and 2 of Z2. I want to put three more of Z2 on today. Ususally after washing if there are some spots left a little Z6 will remove them harmlessly. But these will not come off. I basically want to know, as stated above, if I use the vinegar trick will that remove the Zaino also? Thanks guys,

FUEL

What where the water spots from? Just the Dew on the car? rain? Are they all over the car or just in a few spots. I am not sure if the Vinegar will remove them or the Zaino... I have never tried it on paint to remove spots, just on glass..

Wow, I have never heard of that before. Are you sure the spots wern't there before the zaino? I can't comment on the vinegar. Have you tried a 50/50 alcohol and water?

Keeps us infromed please.

No I am positive that the water spots were not there before because I went over the whole car with dacp. Yes Bill, they are from the rain.. Bruce, the 50 / 50 mixture will for sure remove the Zaino I know that because I have stripped Zaino before that way. Thanks for the replies does anyone else have and ideas? They are spotted throughout the car at least 2 dozen small spots

I am so happy to finally find this thread! I have the same exact problem. and if we need to state the problem it is:

Water and other spots will not be removed easily from the car if you have Zaino on it... That is a big minus for this product ( I can't say for other products)...

Yesterday I rinsed my car with water and left it, that was big mistake... I got water spots all over the car and was unable to remove them till now... still don't know what to do... Tried the Z6 but does nothing... While I reward Zaino for the shine results, I can clearly say this product is very poor when considering it for water spots and probably other type of spots... These things for some reason go into the Zaino film and stay there... I had the Touch of Class made by Nissan on my car... some on this forum call it sham and crap but guys all I can tell you, my car never had any issue with water spots nor dust... I do not know what this TOC product but I guess I need to go back to my dealer to re-apply that material... I do not know else what to do... is there any other product out there that is more resistant to hard water spots...? How can I get them removed now? I have a few coats of Z5 and more of Z2 and hope I do not need to remove them all!

Thanks.

I also posted before about water spots over Zaino.

I went home and I used the Z6 and all the spots are gone.

Trying to avoid this problem in the future I am topping with P21S. It looks incredible. The plasticity shine is gone and the wax is protecting the Zaino product. It sounds bad but it is true Zaino needed some protection and some deep shine.

I am happy with this combo! I'll keep it.

I also remember you can use scratch X from meg. (or any other product) over the spots not over the whole car. It will remove Z products but you can apply Zaino over the same spots so you don't have to start from scratch.
