Water spots on Wheels

Hello fellow Autopians, yesterday after car wash, I found out that there are several water spots on my clear-coated alloy wheel after I wipe dry it. I tried to use clay bar to remove the elements but it doesn't help. I even tried Scratch-X, it seems that the water spot is very stubborn. Can anyone give me a hand here? Thanks! :)

I'm not certain what the next aggressive step would be to take, but whatever you do, be careful with your clear coat!

Just got myself with a bottle of Heinz distilled white vinegar. No help at all, the spots are still there...:(

I just used some Clear Coat Body Scrub to remove the edge of the rim which is etched by the water spot. Somehow, I found out that my cloth has some grey/black colour stains...and also the worst thing is I found out that part of the clear coat is gone! Do you guys experience the grey/black colour stains on the cloth when you remove too much of clearcoat?

Now, part of the etch mark has gone, but still some remain, my concern is, if I continue to work it on...I will remove all the clearcoat. Please help me on my 1 month old wheels!!!

the grey/black is due to polishing the metal itself.... If the wheels are 1 month old, do they have any warranty perchance? You could pursue getting a new wheel/wheels.
