Water Spot Hell

Long story short: Went to a BBQ yesterday, parked on street. Was only in there an hour, but in that amount of time, sprinklers had soaked half of car and the spots were dry. I immediately QD with what I had (speed shine) and as soon as I got home I used ONR and then clayed, but some of the spots are still visible in strong sunlight. Does this mean they've already etched the paint? Any benefit in using P21S Paintwork cleanser next and seeing what more I can do or should I just apply a coat of wax and wait until Patrick (of excel detail) can come out and polish? Thx. SO ANNOYED.

Update: Got home and tried P21S Paintwork cleanser -- could see that it wasn't doing anything. Mixed up some white vinegar and arrowhead water (didn't want to use the hard water from tap) and sprayed on the affected areas. Looks like the spots are gone. Followed up with ONR and then put on a coat of wax. I want to see in full sun, but really looked like the spots were gone. My husband thought so too. I really hope I got rid of them! Thx.

They should come out with DG water spot remover, or any AIO. It does not mean they are etched in as of yet. Dont apply the wax over them. P21S Paintwork cleanser should take them out as well.

Thanks. I am at work now, but I think I can get home and do this before the sun goes down. I don't have DG water spot remover. My only option is vinegar or the P21S. Sounds like I better at least try to remove today.
