Water softner and filter from Autogeek

I have been looking at the water softner that Autogeek has. I was wondering how often you must rejuvinate the softner cartridge? I have already heard the statement " It depends on how hard your water is " . I just want to know approx number of washes it will do. I want to know am I going to be doing this every week,month or couple of months. I would use it only when washing a car. Not watering the garden or any other use.

I have a water softening cartridge from pwgazette.com since our water is barely a liquid. I recharge mine about once a month.

I know this isnt one of u're questions, but I had to take it off and only use it on days that I know the sun is gonna be glaring. If I was early in the morning I take it off since I find it takes away a lot fo the pressure from the hose.
