Water Pumps

Okay, I am starting a mobile detailing business. I am wondering if I need a water pump or if just having the hose hooked up to the tank and the pressure washer will be enough? I have a Karcher Pro Series 3200 PSI Honda GC190 Gas Powered pressure washer. Any thoughts?
 
From what I understand, your tank has to flow equal to or more than what your pressure washer is rated for.

If you have a 2.0gpm PW, your tank needs to gravity flow at least 2.0gpm.
 
Gravity feeding it will more than likely lead to you burning up the pump in your power washer because it keeps running out of water. You definitely need a pump.
 
You have to check the specs on your pump and PW to be sure, I know my kranzle PW will pump from a static source like a pond.
