My dad left the sprinkler on and it was hitting my car all day and i just noticed it left all water circles on it and its not coming off. I tried wax and that did nothing. Any recommendations of what would work to take them out??

Thanks

Whats the best way to apply it?? with a soft cloth??

I put it in a spray bottle. Give a few sprays on a microfiber towel and wipe the spots off. It may take a few passes with a little pressure to completely remove them. Make sure your paint is clean to avoid marring it.

If you aren't having luck with the other suggestions, you can try DP's high performance glass restorer. This is a great product and won't leave your car smelling like a pickle... GL

Well I'm sure some people here would not recommend this but I used CG 1500 compound on a polishing (not compounding) pad and it removed all of the water spots off my windshield. I used a Flex 3401 for this and I followed it up with CG Pro Polish on an identical pad then I followed it up with Sprayway glass cleaner from Sams Club. I just spray some of the foam glass cleaner on a MF to clean off any polish residue instead of spraying the foam directly onto the glass. My last step was removing any streaks left with this Turtle Wax window cleaner/pad that I bought at Big Lots for $1. It's made of lamb skin or something and it actually does a good job of removing streaks from windows.

I would say the CG 1500 is about a 6 on a abrasive scale from 1 to 10.

I'm sure using compound on glass isn't recommended but I tried to polish off the water spots on my glass and it would not remove them so I figured I'd give the compound a shot and it worked great. I think the pad I used is a Meguiars yellow DA polishing pad but I'm not 100%.

I had a similar problem with etched-in water marks... I tried clay bar, vinegar, and the results were non-existent... I stepped it up to 1z glass polish and was happy with the results... Most brands have a glass polish, so I'd pick one up and give it a try... Good luck...
