water filter question

well, i used to have one in my house but then i heard it was not so safe for your health and googled it. then i found out it was true-not all the filters're good. be careful when chose them. don't believe all the replies at forums-they may be a type of advertisement. try to ask your friends and find all the info you can.

I bought one of the typical inline household filters at walmart and have been trying different filter cartridges in it.

The de-ionizing type that can be bought from the detailing websites has been working out pretty well. You can

also buy the inline type of filter housing at home depot etc.,. I just put fittings on mine so I can put it inline with

my garden house.

I assume this is for drinking water ? I can understand that and believe it 100%. But if using strictly for washing vehicles, then it shouldn't be much issue ?
