Water Etching??

Is this water etching?(pic attached) The hood is completely covered with this. This pic just gets a few in the proper light though.



I have tried as of today:



PC with Meg's Medium Cut Cleaner and yellow CMA pad 3 times to no avail.

Not to mention the countless times with 3MFCRC, Menzerna IP, etc.



I cannot feel any of these with my finger nail.

Sorry it's hard to tell with just a pic, but those look almost like some kind of indentations or something? :nixweiss



The water etching I've seen (so far) usually look like pools or rings of water with the damage being worst on the outside edges.
