Wasted a 1/2 ounce of PB's SuperSlick

After washing my daughter's car yesterday using Pinnacle's BodyWash Shampoo I washed my sister-in-law's with SuperSlick. Since I used an ounce of Pin's I thought I'd use an ounce of Super. Well people an ounce is way too much. I poured the ounce in my 5 gallon bucket, set the nozzle on jet stream and suds came bursting out of the water. Once the suds were a 3 to 4 inches from the top I submerged the nozzle under the water to agitate the mixture. I ened up with lots of suds and a couple gallons of water. The mitt glided over the paint and took off the remnants of birdbombs. The remains of bugs and bug juice came off with the assistance of slight pressure applied to my mitt. When I rinsed off the car the finsh was slick and I still had a bucket full of suds and unused carwash. Today I'm going to wash my daughter's car again using yesterday's PoorBoy's and add another EX-P application. My conclusion is a 1/2 ounce of SuperSlick and Suds is plenty and it has no peers when it come to long lasting suds. As for the lubricity, it's as slick or slicker as any I have used.

I also use much less SS&S in my bucket than most other car wash soaps. Besides limiting the overflowing suds, I also find that the final rinse is faster and more streak free when I don't use too much SS&S.

Washing my wifes car i use about 3 gallons of wash water. To do my truck, i go through around 4 gallons.

Are you squeezing out the water back intot he bucket before you goto the paint?

I use the two bucket wash method. This entails two buckets with about 2.5 gallons of water and less than 1 ounce of SS&S in each bucket. The buckets are different colors with one bucket used for rinsing out a dirtied mitt and the other used for absorbing fresh wash solution. My washing tool is a 100% cotton chenille mitt. I will agitate the mitt into the rinse bucket to release dirt, lightly squeeze out excess water, then dip into the wash bucket and once again lightly squeeze out excess water before placing the mitt on the paint.

I'm on my second wash useing SS&S and the one big thing I've notice is that when I rinse of the soap off the water tends to glide right off the car. It almost looks like the car is drying itself. Makes it much easier to dry at the end of the wash. Right now it's my favorite shampoo.
