Surface Preparation:
Using Menzerna Intensive & Final II polishes, Klasse All-In-One wax, Menzerna Finishing Glaze, a Menzerna or Zanio polymer sealant and a Pinnacle Carnauba wax
Methodology
1.Use a pH balanced pre wash treatment (Stage One PreWash) spray two â€â€œthree panels and rise off with low pressure water (this will avoid spay dying and causing water spots) once the vehicle has been pre-treated rinse the entire vehicle with low pressure water.
2.Use a quality car wash shampoo specifically formulated for automotive use, one that contains conditioning lubricants (Menzerna Auto Shampoo) 1.0oz per 2 gallon that enable abrasive particles to rinse off without abrading the paints surface.
3.Rinse vehicle and dry thoroughly to avoid any water spots.
4.Remove any imbedded contaminants with detailing clay (Clay Magicâ„¢ â€ËœBlueâ€â„¢) with a 5:1 solution of (Distilled water/Woolite®)
5.Clean paint film surface with a chemical cleaner / polish (Klasse All-In-One) with a grey / black foam pad, speed # 4.5-.5.0
6.Remove surface imperfections (Menzerna Intensive Polish) 6/10, Orange /White Pad, speed # 3.5-4.0
7.And /or a swirl mark remover (Menzerna Final Polish II , CA 3/10, White Pad, speed # 4.0 - 4.5
8.Final polishing (Menzerna Final Polish II) with a grey / black foam pad, speed # 5.5
9.Check surface condition- by using a fine mist, spray the surface with Isopropyl alcohol (IP)
10.Leave it to dwell for 30-45 seconds before wiping the paint surface with a clean, dry 100% cotton (DF Alpine) towel.
11.For surface imperfection that if removed could compromise the clear coat apply a glaze (12)The use of an electronic Mil gauge (Checkline Model DEF-900) to check the clear coat is highly recommended
12.Apply a final polish / glaze (Menzerna Finish Glaze) with a grey / black foam pad, speed # 5.5
13.Wash paint and dry thoroughly before the application of a polymer sealant (Menzerna FMJ or Zaino Z2PROâ„¢ + ZFX)
14.Apply a low-solvent Carnauba wax last step product (LSP) hand buff surface with a 100% natural cotton (DFâ„¢ Towel) concourse towel
(a) Pinnacle Souverän contains natural oils that provide a deep gloss, and a â€Ëœwet-lookâ€â„¢ to the paint film surface, ideal for Red, Black or Porsche Speed Yellow and dark vehicle colours.
(b)Pinnacle Signature is perfect for metallic painted surfaces and for light colour vehicle paint
15.With a 100% natural cotton (DFâ„¢ Towel) concourse towel buff paint surface lightly once more after 3-4 hours to perfect the shine
