Washing a car with sponser stickers

I did a quick search which yielded little pertaining to my question, but nevertheless, how should one wash their car that has sponser stickers on the body? They are regular adhesive, I am sure if I took them off they would just have some goo left over like badges, but it's not as strong. I don't want to powerwash them away, but I also don't want to hand scrub them off accidentally. Any suggestions?

Wait, so you want them off or want to wash your car without them coming off? Are they on the paint or windows? They should be made of vinyl and should not come off with normal hand washing. If you want them off I suggest a hair dryer to get the glu warm then peel them off slowly then use 3m adhesive remover to get rid of any glue residue left behind, if any.

I want to wash it without the stickers coming off, and they are on the paint under the side window mirrors. I figured a light scrub would do the trick, but I am just double checking if there is a better way.

Yeah, you will be fine hand washing it. Just don't use a polisher around it or a high pressure hose. :up

Just make sure the corners are not lifting or peeling, and be gentle. I have had a small pair if Eibach stickers on my rear windows for six months, and they have survived numerous hand washings, and a couple DIY wash bays in the winter. Just use good judgement, and you will be fine.

i use to have vinyl signs on my work truck and i used a pressure washer on my every weekend to wash the truck and they lasted for a long so i don't think you will have any problems hand washing your car
