Washin' and Waxin'

In my perpetual search for detailing products, I came across an interesting one. Obviously this isn't an Autopian-level product but it sounds interesting if it is half as good as it sounds.

It looks like a sort of gel which you apply to the car on a mitt or MF while its wet (or dry, according to the website) and it foams as you wash. You then rinse it off and its supposed to give the car a psedu-protective carnuba wax protective coating. It sounds interesting and like it actually might do a decent job for someone who is willing to put the effort into washing the car and wants a basic wax application shine. I'd even be willing to give it a shot if I can get a small bottle for cheap. A wash/wax product with actual carnuba sounds worthwhile.



Opinions? Anyone tried it?

I just got some the other day because it was on clearance. I can see why now....it's worthless in my opinion.

A few years ago, I bought a car shampoo with carnuba beads in it and I hated that car wash. There was too much friction.

haha it reminds me of those girly body washes that have little chunks of stuff in em.



Id never use it, but if its all you got, then go for it.



And don't kid yourself that its giving you very much protective power.
