Has anyone ever tried the wash soap from Megs Detailer line, the regular or washnwax. are they any better than gold class or nxt. :dunno :dancin :doh

I have and use both D21 car wash and D22 wash and wax. D22 wash and wax is one of my favorites. I like D21 for really dirty cars as D21 is a strong wash and I would not use it as everyday or maintenance wash.

What do you want to know about the detailer line washes?

As to being better than GC and NXT, all depends on what you are looking for in car wash. Both GC and NXT are good car washes and are available almost everywhere.

Both D-21 and D-22 have lubricity, sudsing equal to GC. NXT has more sudsing and slight (barely unnoticable) more slickness. D-21 as said is powerful cleaner and will make dirty car clean. I would use D-21 for vehicles being detailed or vehicles which hae not been washed in sometime. D-22 is slightly (barely noticeable) more cleaning ability than NXT and GC, but leaves the surface slicker and shinier than GC or NXT. Whenever I wash my car using D-22 people ask me what I used on my car. IMHO, NXT wash leaves a slight film behind and the vehicle would need to be QD. Both rinse well and do not streak. Both have good viscosity, which makes for easier pouring.

If you are looking for a slick wash from Meguiars try #62, though only available in gallons.

If you have more question ask.
