washed n waxed the SS!

I finally had a chance to wash my truck after about two months of being dirty. let tell you guys it was a PITA to get it cleaned up again. but here are dsome pics i hope you guys like my truck.

i washed it with meguiars gold class and dried it and wiped the whole truck with pb's spray and gloss then i did one layer of natty's blue then s&g and again natty's blue. i cleaned up the leather with some leather stuff and viola! here it is!

Also cleaned up the engine comp.

LOL, when I 1st read it, I was like how the hell did you manage to do SG (as in Klasse Sealant Glaze) over Natty's Blue, that stuff is already finicky as hell as is lol. Then I realized it was "s&g". Looks nice, great wettness:cool:
 
Looks nice! I don't know how you guys with trucks do it. You have a whole lot of paint to take care of there.

lol, we have 3 suvs along with a couple cars. I was doing my truck one day and neighbor asked if I wanted to do his Excursion (black), ha, told him he could use some of my stuff and do it himself lol.
 
Looks real sharp :) How do you like the K&N system? Do you think it's worth the investment?

It goes without saying that the truck looks great. But Poorboy beat me to the question. Is tha K&N system worth the money and the effort to intall?

it's because we both have Chevy trucks that get bad gas mileage :lol:
 
well i barely noticed any improvement in performance and a little on my gas mileage. it went from 10 mpg to 11 on the street. lol but it does make a cool intake sucking soiund.

roflmao...I get about the same..actually I almost got 12 mph on my last tank ..not sure how..:lol:
 
nice wheels!! how do you like the nattys blue? i have a tub of it but havent been able to try it do to the freezin temps

Im able to get 18-19 going 70 with the cruise on in my ram that has a 4.7L, if i cruise around town doing 45-50 the overhead computer will read 20-25mpg as in real time, not the average. i also got intake & exhaust, so try and use the cruise control and see if that makes a difference
