Washed and installed new inserts

Washed up my car and put on/in my new stainless steel inserts. Got them from a guy on ebay who makes a bunch of other GM Stainless Steel emblems. Mine are brushed but he usually only sells polished. Here are a couple pics. :spot

I hope the pics work because I'm using a new host which seems kinda crappy, but it has unlimited bandwidth for free.

Let me know what you guys think. :2thumbs:

Those were just impressed letters before, with nothing in them?

Ya, IMO it didn't quite look right being impressed with nothing else there. I got several sets of vinyle inserts, but none fit right or looked right, so I finally found some good ones.

Cool, I have never seen those for a f body. The license plate surround takes away from the look though.

Looks great. I noticed you blocked out the letters on your license plate on the first pic, but not on the last pic. ;)

I'm going to send the first to the guy that I bought them from. Figured I would block it out for him (all his other pics have plates blocked). Not sure why people block out their own plate though. I mean what can happen? :scared:

Looks good. Here's a not so great picture of mine (MBA polished):

Just one thing, though...what's with that big gap between your taillights and the bumper? Or does the picture just make it look that way?

I dont know, its alway had a gap, more so when I first got it and when I got the rear part painted, I had them adjust it as much as possible. Honestly though, I never see any with much less (other than yours, maybe its the extra weight of the TA bumper). What do you think would fix that? Maybe one day I'll take it to another body shop and see what they could do.
