Wash, polish, and then wax the next day...is this OK?

I did the first attempt at a total detail on Wifey's Audi TT and ran out of time and energy (mostly energy) after the wash and polishing. Will it hurt to go back this evening and do a quick detail with spray and micro towel and then proceed with the waxing? It has not been driven today if that matters.

Not a problem, you can maybe skip the QD if its been garaged....I fint it really important to have nothing between the polish and sealant.......Some opinions will differ. Just swipe with the MF and you should be good to go !
 
I'd QD the car and go to it. I also find it tough to do everything all in one day. I usually section off the car in 3 sections (front, middle, rear).
