Hello everybody, was wondering if anybody could help me out in my quest. been looking for Meguiars #16 locally and on-line for a while now. seems like I am always a step late finding it. does anybody know where I might find a tin or two ? would be willing to buy it off somebody if they could possibly spare one for me. if somebody could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. thanks for the effort everybody :dcrules

There was a link on Autopia,also check Ebay a few cans a been poppin up here and there ..

Yea I saw a couple, man the one went for like $30 plus shipping. seems like I always miss them. can not believe that there are not a couple of tins in a warehouse or at an auto parts store. looked all over my area with no luck. checked out the link and the person was selling a meg wax that was" suppose " to be the same thing. of course this was told to you after you oder the #16 and think you are getting it. you then get an e-mail stating they do not have it anymore.

its supply and in demand we learned this long ago when ther gone there gone.most suppliers no longer carry the product bceause the product is non VOC compliant which makes shipping to certain areas harder..

Zaino is readily available ...but do pay more on ebay then they would placing an order..

same thing with CD02 engine cleaner..

Oh I know what you are saying. guess I was hoping somebody had an extra one to help a guy out. was thinking that somebody must have a grabbed a few before they were gone and could spare one. I know if I had some extra I would help out. I have sent samples out to people to try a product before they buy it. I am not asking for anything free. well maybe I have hit another dead end :wall

I happen to give a in at cost and thru a few extras.to my surprise he tossed in a few extra dollers..thru the wxtras because he is very deserving ;).

btw,i have dealt with flatstick he isvery generous and always kept in touch.
i wish we could have trading ..trading FB just under another name like atutopia. I know its bem tried.

Troy maybe you and sheila could give it some thought.some people just dont have the cash to try out an item. If the item is liked it could be nothing but a win ,win situation for the sponsors..Please give it some consideration over a large percentage of people on this forum are good people..

NO Dead end Keep trying..if anything comes help you'll be the 1st to know..some of the older stores have carried older items ..

I gave out a $100.00 of sposored products paid for shipping and postage expecting nothing reurn. It got me bad rep twice form someone who somehow (blinded)who can't be ignored because it says he is a moderator.HMMMM

Three people benfited:
1)The forum
2)The receiver of items
3)the sponors

Wow sorry to hear that Joe. when I have dealt with you I have seen nothing but respect and kindness. I appreciate you understanding where I am coming from. we have some great people on the board and did not want to seem like a charity case but I am running out of ideas. even had a bunch of guys at work looking for me as well. helping each other is what we do .You know I would help anybody in a heart beat if I can. just hope in some way other people realize that I am a giving person by nature. I don't want my post to be considered spam or an eyesore, that is not my intention. just looking for something I have not been able to find, nothing more.
 
I didn't mind at all to helping the forum members ,another member gave me the idea helping people is a good felling esp when you expect nothing in return.I'll keep a watch out for you and you'll be the 1st to know.I don't think of you post as spam you turned toa forum where members are willing to help others..your desrving of help.

to the original post i hope you think we went off top too much..

JoeP... I cannot believe that you got a bad rep for giving stuff away....? What was that person thinking???? Oh well try not to let it get you down. I know better if no one else knows, that is for sure!!!!!

Flat stick...will put out the feelers for you here in Texas. I do not have any Mequiars paste waxes act the moment.

I agree Kirk, have dealt with you and Joe and have benefited in both knowledge and kindness from you guys. your acts have made me see there are some great people on the board. makes me proud to be a member here. we are not just detailers, we are a little community. let me know if you hear anything. your help is greatly appreciated.

Ok thank you for the help, that is more than I can ask for. your act of kindness means a lot. knowing how busy we are, it is nice to see people willing to think of others.

I've dealt with both FLATSTICK and CWCAD on trades on other boards and both are good guys. CWCAD introduced me to the wonderful world of Zaino.

Joe, appreciate you keeping tabs on the quest for the golden wax LOL ! if you do run across another one let me know. as you know I tend to buy in bulk.
