hey guys, i cleaned, polished and NXT'd my 98' Ford expedition.. I think this weekend i'm giong to NXT it again and finish it off with a nice topper - so that it'll last longer.

Ive heard many good things about 26 and Reflections. Reflections is fairly new.. is the verdict out yet? is it superior to 26?

What do you want to accomplish with the finish?

What is the color?

Reflections has 2 different "waxes", the advanced car wax as first step that has very mild cleaners, and the TOP coat with no cleaners tus being truly layerable. TOP coat should be your choice, but even the regular advanced car wax will go nice over NXT.

Reflections makes the metallic flake pop. If your paint is a dark flat color, #26 for maximum depth.

How about a second coat of NXT? It won't remove all the first coat and the looks improve exponentially.

how do you define superior? They both have a different look. #26 darkens more than Reflections...Reflections is brighter and clearer reflections (naturally :D ), #26 is a bit deeper...Reflections has more of a balance of depth and reflection - its a bit like S100.

Both will soften the NXT's vitreous look.

that's the color of my car (found on the internet).

I'm not sure if that's considered dark or light.... what about durability? Will reflections be more durable since it's synthetic?

both are good products-if you like deep and dark then go with 26, if you want a brighter more reflective look go with Reflections Top Coat.

I'd allow for overnight curing, being a sealant.

I'd say your car is a dark colour that would benefit from any of the three you mentioned. They will all darken the colour, with #26 and NXT darkening more than Reflections.

As far as durability goes, I'd say #26 and Reflections last a bit longer than NXT.

Reflections is purely synthetic, and Reflections Top Coat is a carnauba/synthetic hybrid like #26.
