Waffle Weaves at Sam's

I found these at Costco today. I thought it wouldn't hurt to try them out. I have them in the washer now and will let you know how they come out after an initial wash.

For just over $12.00 for 10 at 16"x28" I figured I could always use them for windows and such.

2 photos below.

(Edit: Got them at Costco, not Sam's).

have you compared them to the walmart ww's?

Right out of the package the Wal-Mart feel softer. But, these are larger (if that makes a difference).

I think they are more "Compacted" than the one's at Wal-Mart due to being packed up tightly in the box they came to Costco in. After the wash I feel they may get softer.

Yes, Costco, I originally put Sam's, but they actually came from Costco.....sorry about that. I frequent both and got them mixed up.

After washing them and drying them on low heat I think they aren't as thick when compared to the Wal-Mart WW towels. To me the Wal-Mart towels are about the same as my Meguiar's Water Matnets and these from Costco aren't as thick/soft as they are ( not that the Water Magnets are soft ).

For the price I feel they were worth what I paid and they should absorb well enough for wheels, windows and door jams at least. But, I think I'll stick to better quality towels for drying and wax/quick detail removal.

My paint is about as smooth as I can get it and I'd hate to mess it up with some cheaper towels:
