Haven't been here for a while, but didn't have much to do today, and remembered you guys :) Thought I'd post some pics up that I took last weekend after I gave the VX a good clean. Didn't get a lot of pics as the light was fading. Might get some more this weekend...

Gave the car a once-over with Meguiars SMR, then some Klasse AIO, followed by SG topped with S100...

Like I said, not many. I'll get some better pics this weekend :)

Looks gorgeous - is that your actual plate? I'd think it was worth more than the car, from what I've read about such things over there.

 Cool car! How about some specs on it, never seen one before.

Paint looks incredible, btw. :)

They don't sell them over here. I believe it has the same underpinnings as the Solstice and the Saturn Sky if I'm not mistaken.

(EDIT: I guess I was mistaken. Can't be perfect.)

The whole car looks great. Good job.

The Opel that will be on the Kappa platform (Solstice/Sky) is the GT.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

Yeah, it's based on the Elise. The replacement model (now that they've ended production) is the Opel GT, which is the Sky-based car. Not really the same though - the VX220 weighs about 900kg, and is fairly basic in terms of comfort, size and equipment. Does shift though! This one has had a remap, and is now pushing around 220bhp and 230lb/ft of torque - gives a power-to-weight somewhere around the 245bhp/tonne mark ....

I'll get some pics of the interior tomorrow as well. :)
