I received a call from the owner of this jetta who runs a very well known shop here in So Fla. He saw a restored 300ZX TT and 530i that i had done for one of his customers.
In the meantime i also did a newly acquired E39 M5 for that same client that i will post up some other time.
Well, the jetta actually belongs to the shop owner's daughter and he was about to bring it back up her in NC i believe.
They are the original owners and her realized that the paint needed attention but also that it would continue to be driven daily by his daughter.
I figured that i would use this job as my introduction to the shop even though they had already seen my work.
By the time i was done though, i got the CTS-V coupe and another Phantom, other than the one i posted, as new clients.
That Phantom was getting new 26" rims that had just been delivered to the shop.
Process:
Wash to strip off any possible waxes remaining
Clayed as it was surely needed
Makita rotary
Menz SIP/3M black pad
Menz 106/3M blue pad
Possibly PO85, not sure about that
The owner was even surprised when i showed him what the paint actually looked like
