VT post....

I posted a thread here about the victims of VT because this board gets all the vistors. We got placed in the hot tub. FOR ONCE YOU SHOULD LET THE RULES SLIDE. WHAT A DISERVICE TO OUR NATION. This post won't last long.

I agree and it was an excellent post...But is that not where it belongs? I mean no disrepect at all, but I would think the Hot Tub is where it should be

Edit: Woops I read it wrong, I thought the thread got deleted all together. If people keep posting in it, it will stay on the front page when people view new posts. I'm just glad it is still around.

I think your sentiments are good. But do you really think it's a disservice to our nation to have the thread go to the "Hot Tub" instead of the "Detailing Product" section?

Maybe not a diservice to our nation, but a diservice to our fellow human beings. THIS IS THE MOST POPULAR FORUM. You have just got to understand that we as a society should feel and express compassion to others. What is more important to you. Is your young adult in college important. Is it heartfelt to hear others stories about the VT incident? Do you think a type of wax or sealant is more important? Pennypacker this is not directed to you but everyone. When the day comes and I loose my feelings, caring and compassion toward others then It is time for me to go home to the pearly gates. (my dad will be waiting).....

I think we all need to remember that a thread on a forum is just that-- a thread on a forum. If you really want to contribute to the VT victims or try to prevent such a horrible thing from happening again, take some action and donate to many of the VT funds or contact your congressman to work on getting your view on gun control laws in place.



The last thing we need is quarreling over some minor thing like getting a thread moved, because I'm sure the families and friends of the VT victims are in need of kind words whether it be via letter, email, or submitting your thoughts to your local newspaper.

Threads get noticed in the Hot Tub. I started one on road bikes and it went several pages. If that thead on biking did that, the VT thread would go longer.
